Apache 1.3.28 on HP-UX 11.0
Has anyone seen this error message while starting Apache 1.3.28 on HP-UX 11.0
Ouch! ap_mm_create(1048576, "/usr/local/apache/logs/httpd.mm.9278") failed
Error: MM: mm:core: failed to set status of shared memory (Invalid argument): OS: No such file or directory
./apachectl start: httpd could not be started
Any hints will be appreciated.

Re: Apache 1.3.28 on HP-UX 11.0
It would appear you may have a shared memory shortage.
shmmax might need to be raised. kmtune will show you what its set for. It can be hiked up to as much as 25% of total memory, defined as ram plus swap.
You might want to increase shmseg if thats running short as well.
You might want to use the script I'm attaching to measure performance and check high water marks.
