Apache proxy server - Microsoft Hotmail and Messenger won't login

Not sure where to post this one.

I've set up Apache proxy on a C160 and can't get Hotmail and Messenger to login. The error logs aren't telling me anything obvious. The login just fails and returns to the login screen.

One thing I've noticed is that when I ran it on Solaris x86 Hotmail worked, but not messenger. All I can think is that Apache don't like Microsoft!

I've found the answer. Use Apache for a web server and Squid for a proxy. Got Squid working first time. :-)
