Apache Server !

Hi,

What is your best recommendation for tunning the apache server on hpux 11.11 (tuning guide).

The version that i have installed is:

hpuxwsApache A.2.0.58.01 HP-UX Apache-based Web Server

These tips are with the intention to discover if my portal server on Windows presents hangs, where the incoming connections arrives to the hpux box (apache server).

The best tools that come with apache are the access_log and error_log files.

Almost any time apache is acting up there are entries leading to the problem in one or both log files.

I'd create three windows and tail -f all the log files and /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

You may be able to re-create the condition and see what is going on in real time.
