I am running HPUX 11.11 and I am installing a Remedy app that users Apache. I need to recompile the apache source code to include Shared Module Support or DSO. Where can I find the apache source file so I can recompile it?

Does this mean that I am going to do a new install of apache all together?

Also, how can I tell what version of apache I am currently using?

version 1.3.29 is at

version 2.2.35 is at

or goto

and make a search with word apache on the main screeen in the middle.

Hi Robert,

If you install ApacheStrong from the application CDs, then it includes support for DSO. You don't need to compile it.

Yes - you will need to re-install Apache.

Version?

Telnet to the server's port 80, and type HEAD / HTTP/1.0
then enter.
