Hi again,
I learned that the convenient usage of apachectl is only possible with the lynx browser. I received it and tried to install it. The configure script delivered with the source runs properly bur unfortunately not the make install.
It is claimed that it is tested for hpux 11.0 with gcc. I have both but make runs not. I got the following errors:
# make install
No suffix list.
cd WWW/Library/Implementation && make CC="gcc" \
LY_CFLAGS="-O2 " \
CPPFLAGS="-DSNAKE -I/usr/include/curses_colr" \
LYFLAGS=""
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DSNAKE -I/usr/include/curses_colr -I../../.. -I../../../src -I../../.. -I../../../src -I../../../WWW/Library/Implementation -O2 -I../../../WWW/Library/Implementation/ -DXMOSAIC_HACK -DACCESS_AUTH -c ../../../WWW/Library/Implementation/HTParse.c

Can anybody help me with this or are there any other suggestions how to build a running lynx version?
Thanks and best regrads,
Oliver

Re: apachectl and lynx
Maybe try to install binaries from http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Networking/WWW/lynx-2.8.4/

Re: apachectl and lynx
Thanks for this hint.
I tried it but another error appears:
The corerequisite "guile.guile-SHLIBS" can not be resolved for fileset "lynx.lynx-RUN,r=2.8.4"
Where can I get this lib from?
Thanks and bye,
Oliver

Solution
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Gnu/guile-1.6.0/
For Guile.
Look at both products and download and install the co and pre-requisites.
