ps -ef |grep diald
to check whether diald daemon is running.
else.
cd /opt/sanmgr/commandview/client/sbin
./HA_Dial_Stop
and then
./HA_Dial_Start

1) Ensure Power/Standby Switch is on
2) Are there any system LEDs on and if so ensure they are all green.
If all LEDS are off check the Enclosure Power Cords at the back of the array
3)Ensure any fibre optic cables are connected to the array as required.
4) cd /opt/sanmgr/commandview/client/sbin
./HA_Dial_Stop
./HA_Dial_Start
5) repeat you armdiscover
