ASU/9000 migration procedure to SAMBA

Hi Folks:

As that 12/31/2002 deadline looms nearer and nearer where HP will no longer support ASU/9000...., and SAMBA becomes the replacement..., has a procedure for migrating over to SAMBA/CIFS/9000 been developed?

If you look at software.hp.com you will find AS/U --->> CIFS migration scripts (simply search for CIFS)

Theese scripts will help yout to migrate BUT you need quit some additional work and testing.

Try to understand the scripts and you can change them to more closely meet your needs.

I changed a few things and developed quite a good migration strategy based on them.
