I'm trying to attach a modem to an A-class (rp2430), I've attached it to the remote cable from the set of three at the back. When I do a IOSCAN no device is their, only the UPS & console.

Re: Attaching a modem to an A-class
Please post your ioscan -fnCtty,GSP firmware version (Ctl+B,GSP>HE).
In GSP prompt (Ctl+B):
MS - modem status
ER - enable remote (which is modem connected to).
Later create device file.

HP-UX cannot find a modem attached that way... nor remote LAN console.
