Please, I would like to know if I can delete the audit files from
I talked with our database administrator and he said me that is possible to disable this from openview database but I don't have sure if I can do that.
What the impact if I to disable these audit files?
Please, could someone give me a help?
Thanks a lot,
Clever

SolutionYes you can delete audit files. They are not necessary to running the database.
Your ability to track problems after they occur may be impaired.
Its not clear to me how these files are being generated. Their may be SOX implications to deleting the files. It might be better to archive them to tape.

Re: Audit Files
SOX refers to the "Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002". It's a US Federal law.
