AutoFS not unmounting idle file systems

I just implemented AutoFS on a couple of systems to get rid of that nasty /tmp_mnt that the old automounter used to place before a file system. It automatically mounts an NFS file system wonderfully, but does not unmount it once it has been idle for a while -- default is supposed to be 5 minutes. I have even manually added the AUTOMOUNT_OPTIONS="-t 300" in the nfsconf file to force an unmount after 5 minutes, but still nothing. What's up?

You might be missing some patches.
What OS version are you at? Whats the system hardware?

We are running B.11.00 on an L2000-36. I just started where I'm at a couple weeks ago. Noticed XSWGR1100 patches only on May 1999 and XSWHWCR1100 on Dec. 1999 level.
