B Class Workstation dialup to NT domain for Telnet
I would like to be able to setup a 'B' class workstation (B132L) running HP/UX 10.20 using its built in tty port and an external modem to dial into an NT RAS server so I can Telnet to other HP Servers running Unix (work from home).
The workstation would have to accept a RAS supplied IP address, Gateway and Sub-Net mask. The workstation would have to send a userid, password and domain name to the RAS server.
Has anyone done this? Any help is appreciated.
If this idea is not directly doable I have an NT Workstation that can dial into the RAS server. Via a lan card would there be a way for the B132L to use the PPP connection setup by the NT workstation? NT calls RAS via external modem. NT and B132L connected via lan cards and mini-hub.
This exercise is so I can run SAM and use NFS remotely.
Thanks...
