B132L+ with "10BT/100BTX card" and "10 Base converter"
I have B132L+ station with 10.20. Previously it was not connected to any net (it supports ZEISS measuring machine).
Now, in one place it is connected to a net using "Ethernet Media Converter, 10 Base-T/10 Base FL, IEEE 802.3 compatible" made by MICROSENS.
But after setting the station using SAM, net connectivity does not work in this location.
In another location (with 100MB net and when it is connected directly without the converter) it works fine.
Could someone help me with this?

Re: B132L+ with "10BT/100BTX card" and "10 Base converter"
First, check to see if the network is 10 or 100B/T, then check to see what the NIC is set to. IF the card is 100B/T and the network is 10, that won;t work. The lanadmin -x command will show you what the card is set to. As well, the ports that you are plugged into may be set to something other than you expect. Verify each of these for compatibility.

Re: B132L+ with "10BT/100BTX card" and "10 Base converter"
1. Check your 10Base T port & UTP connection without the media converter and confirm that there is no problem with the port.
2. Once the 10BaseT port is found to be working fine. Connect the mediaconverter and the FL media. Is the FL media connected to the other host/device directly or thru a networking device hub/switch/router? If it connected directly to the other device/host without networking device, you may have to swap the connections at one end (i.e TX to RX & RX to TX ). Else connect it thru the networking device and that should make connection through.
Hope this helps.
