Backup in 11.31
Backup and Recovery option is not available in 11.31 SMH, which was available in SAM.
Is there a menu based backup utility in 11.31 and what are the other options of backup in 11.31.
Thanks

Ignite is NOT a backup tool. It is a system recovery tool, designed to give you a bootable recovery image that can be used to re-build your system in a disaster situation.
As to true backup options, I believe you should still have tar and fbackup and dd and all the other old standbys, just (apparently) no menu based method of invoking them. Time to hit the man pages!
I also believe that SAM invoked fbackup so that would probably be most familiar for you.

Re: Backup in 11.31
For backup and recovery you can use ignite.
For data backup you can use tar
or fbackup.
You can create menu based backup option by customizing sam.
