BL870c internal disk drive configuration with HP-UX v2/3

Hi,

I am setting internal drives with an integrated mirror. I now want partition the drive to include the HPSP service partition and the EFI partition. I am going to install the HP-UX v3 via the DVD on the USB port into the HP-UX partition. This does not create the HPSP and the EFI partitions.

What does confirm this?

Without an EFI partition your system will not boot at all.

Does hp-ux already run?

Hi,

No, HP-UX has not been loaded.

We are trying to create an integrated mirror, and then load the OS from a USB attached DVD.

The installation process will automagically create this partitions - any problems during installation?
