Booting from mirror

Hi,

I have mirrored my two root disks and made the second one bootable as well. Then when running the lifls command for each of the disks it looks like this:

root% lifls -C /dev/dsk/c2t1d0
ODE MAPFILE SYSLIB CONFIGDATA SLMOD2
SLDEV2 SLDRV2 SLSCSI2 MAPPER2 IOTEST2
PERFVER2 PVCU SSINFO ISL AUTO
HPUX PAD LABEL

root% lifls -C /dev/dsk/c3t0d0
ISL AUTO HPUX PAD LABEL

So the one I installed Unix on (c2t1d0) has way more files, so the question is if this is good enough to be able to boot from the second one as well (c3t0d0)?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Booting from mirror

Yes, the essentials are all there.

Those other files are related to Offline Diagnostic Environment, which might be useful if your system is so sick it cannot even come up to single-user mode.

This thread has more information and instructions for installing the ODE to the mirror disk:
