C compiler on rp2470

I purchase a HP9000 system with C compiler and HP-UX 11.00 in 1999.

I now am purchasing a rp2470 system with HP-UX 11.0i. Can I use the same C compiler on this newer system or do I have purchase a new C compiler compatible with the rp2470 system ?

If the maintenance has been continued from the old server, you can transfer the license to the new server. The 'A' class (rp24xx) is a tier one server, so no penalty should apply.
If you haven't maintained the contract for support with HP, you may have to pay a fee.
