If I am just going to be compiling C code do I only need the C softbench license is C++ required when writing and developing code

C++ compilers. You will need a codeword to install this
product.

Here is an update the customer says they just want to compile code when compiling they get the error /opt/linetools not found will ording ANSI C do the trick
