Dear all,
I have got some inquiries regarding implementing a campus cluster for one of our customer. The main site consists of two EVA's and two rx servers. The DR site consists of one EVA with Continous Access and one rx server.
What is the requirement for do the following implementation :
EVA "A" replicates to EVA "B" at the same main site, then EVA B replicates to EVA "C" at the DR site ??
Note the following:
1. EVAs "A" & "B" are located at the same building.
2. Distance between main & DR sites is less than 100km.
Please let me know if I can use a campus cluster or not in this case and what are the needed items to implement that ?????
Please advise.

Solution
For a Campus or Extended cluster, you need to have all nodes in the cluster attached to both EVA "a" and EVA "b", and you must be mirroring between the two, NOT using CA/EVA.
You could have EVA "b" using CA/EVA to replicate to EVA "c" if you wish, assuming the nodes at the site C are NOT in the cluster

if needed

Re: Campus Cluster Requirements
Dear sir,
Thank you for your kind reply.
If I intened to implement the two HP-UX servers accessing both EVAs at the main site, can we let both servers access master disk from one EVA (A) and replicate to EVA (B) using the mirror disk only without using MC/ServiceGuard ???
Thanks in advance.
