Can I use the old license of Mirroring/UX ?

Hi, I'm Naoki.

I have the Codeword of Mirroring/UX for 10.20.

Can I use that Codeword for 11i?
or
Should I purchase Mirroring/UX for 11i?

They should be able to provide you with updated codewords for any software covered by your support contract.

Hi Naoki,

No, I'm afraid the license is tied to the CD part number and therefore won't work with your new 11i CD's. You'll need to got to the Software License Manager and get a new codeword:

codewords are connected to CD's and OS versions , that means that in fact a codwords for a hp-ux OS version different then the one you already opurchased the product for will fail , however you do have a right to gewt the upgrade password for you OS version , you can easily do this trough the web , trough the ITRC it is possible to request new codewords , normally when you receive your upgrade CD's you should also receive the codewords for the product you already purchased with that
