can not get screen 3.09.15 working

can not get screen 3.09.15 working

screen 3.09.15 fails with "Cannot find terminfo entry for 'vt100'."

This was installed from the depot at http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/screen-3.9.15/

Eventually I went back to 3.09.11 (thankfully I had a copy of the old depot.)

I noticed that the new one installed directly in /usr/local, whereas the old one installed in /opt/screen. But there must be some other difference too...?
