can't detect internal disks during installing hpux 11i v2

hi all
during fresh installation on HP N4000 server has already hpux 11.00 installed.
i can't detect internal disks when booting from the CDROM

note that
we upgrade firmware for PDC to 43.43
after rebooting the server nothing has changed

Since nothing other than the firmware is altered, can you still boot to 11.0 from the existing internal disk ?

if you can, can you see all disks on an ioscan output ?

i'm still able to boot from hpux 11.00 ,you know disks stopped me from continue installing from the begining

Re: can't detect internal disks during installing hpux 11i v2

if you can not see one of the internal disks under 11.0 boot, there is a possibility that when you shut down the system, that disk went dead (hardware wise) and that might be the reason why 11.23 install is hung with no disks detected. If this is the case, try pulling out the faulty disk and try booting from 11.23 CD.
