Can these forums be viewed via a news server ?

Hello All,

It would be a lot easier if I could read and write to these forums from an Outlook Express client or something like that, just by adding a news server.

Is this possible ?

Yes, it could be and would be faster since it would be text only, but I doubt that it will. It would require syncronization between both types of servers.

As has been said, since it is text only, no fancy graphical stuff would be done and how the heck would we get points?

There is an hpux news group, but questions there tend to not get answered.

The hp new group is quite active and I routinely see the likes of Bill Hassell, Rick Jones and a varying cast of others answering questions posted on the newgroups. The response may not be as quick as on the forum however.

I think web interface is an acces more
universel now. And there are a lot of functions
and advantages on this forum (links, points,
images (Bill's crown and my hat for example),
attached documents ....).
