can we migrate a machine from Host 4.00 to host 3.50 ?
Hello All,
Can we migrate a ivm Guest from one host running with "Integrity VM 4.00" to other host running with "Integrity VM 3.50"
Source Host:- hpux 11.31 "Integrity VM 4.00"
Destination Host:- hpux 11.23 "Integrity VM 3.50"
If yes, can you please tell me the process ?
Thanks .

Shalom
If the guest OS is supported, you can migrate. But to go to a hpvm version that is lower, the supported migration method is probably ignite restore.
May be a problem though going to a host running 11.23. I don't know off of the top of my head if an 11.23 host can support an 11.31 guest. I'd want to try that in the lab before doing it with a RL system.
