Cannot fork NETIO process ([12] Not enough space) => aborting
when I proceed to the daily task of safeguarding by RMAN-DATA PROTECTOR I had the following error message:
Cannot fork NETIO process ([12] Not enough space) => aborting
The xMA main process is not able to start its NETIO subprocess.
This is possibly due to insufficient system resources on the
system running the xMA agent. The error message indicates the
reason as reported by the OS.
please, can you help me.

You likely don't have enough VM. What does "swapinfo -tam" show when you get the error?

Nasser_adil,
Either you have too much swap reserved ( most of it ) or your dbc_max_pct tunable is set to high.
Regards,
Jaime.
