Cant create special file fro clariion "DGC LUNZ"
Hi:
My system shows:
disk 699 0/8/0/0.97.7.255.1.3.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE DGC LUNZ
disk 706 0/8/0/0.97.37.255.1.3.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE DGC LUNZ
We are trying to create the special files by :
insf -C disk -H 0/8/0/0.97.37.255.1.3.0
but after a while the special files are not created.
Is there any 'special' command to use this disks?

Re: Cant create special file fro clariion "DGC LUNZ"
could be insf does not like the long HW-Path.
you could use
insf -e
or
insf -e -H 0/8
that should do the job.
Regards,
Bernhard

Re: Cant create special file fro clariion "DGC LUNZ"
and
mksf -r -H 0/8/0/0.97.37.255.1.3.0
seems work.
