disable NFS client or remove any NFS entries from /etc/fstab.

Try using the control key plus the pipe key.

mount /usr
mount /tmp
mount /var
Now you can edit the file /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf and disable *all* the NFS services. Once you are rebooted into multi-user mode, you can fix the networking and try getting NFS working again.

Otherwise, Cntl-B, or power cycle, interrupt boot, boot single, fix issues or disable NFS all together, init 3

does it accept any input characters ? If not check the serial cable If hyperterm is giving trouble try downloading qcterm from aics-research.com/qcterm

Does it accept any input characters ? If not check the serial cable If hyperterm is giving trouble try downloading qcterm from aics-research.com/qcterm this supports hp terminal format
