with NT 4.0 or NT2000?

Re: Catia

It depends on what you mean by communicate : PC X-emulation packages are
available to run catia on the HP yet display on NT.

Re: Catia

With Samba and NFS there are no problems to mount directories. Catia seems to
have a file system which is not the same as regular Unix. I don't know how it
works yet because I'm new at Unix.

I'v asked this question because I want an NT or Linux Server as a file server
because of the high UNIX prices. No problems with mounting, just with Catia. It
was testet by colleges in Germany and they say it just won't work.

Re: Catia

If the application's correctly installed, I would
agree with the other person who suggested a PC X-server to have your
application displayed on a PC. For example, I use PC-Xware which I believe is
free out
there. Get it, install it, make sure the X-server's running in your PC,from
your Unix box set your display to your PC IP address,ie. #export
DISPLAY=PCIPADDRESS:0.0 and launch the application.
