CDE File Manager Drag and Drop Copy - Preserve Permissions?

Hello all,

 

This may not be possible but, can the default drag and drop copy mode in CDE be changed to preserve permissions of the file being copied (cp -p)?  Can I add another Key Binding to do this instead of CTL-Drag to do this?

 

HP-UX 11.v1/HP9000-C3600
