dr_dt report list 8 Warnings on links for exampl:
The /usr/dt/backdrops directory is not properly
configured. The current configuration is:
permissions = lrwxr-xr-x
owner = root
group = root
link = /usr/dt/share/backdrops
For HP CDE to function correctly, it should be a
symbolic link to a directory,
with the following configuration:
permissions = lrwxr-xr-x
owner = root
group = sys
link = /usr/dt/share/backdrops
And ~/.dt/errorlog list

It looks like the permission for /usr/dt/share/backdrops is not proper can you try giving 777 permission?? & the ownership should bin bin
Try giving this your problem should get solved.

SolutionI ahve seen in my system,1st of all the backdrops directory is not at all linked in my system i dont know how come it is linked there, if it is linked then please see where it has been linked & 2nd thing is in my system ownership is bin bin with the permission dr-xr-xr-x 2 bin bin 2048 Sep 28 2002 backdrops,
i think this should give you some idea.

I'm delete 3 files in home directory my bad users:
~/.ICEauthority
~/.TTauthority
`/.Xauthority
end after login they were created.
