CDE login for som account fault with error- desktop messaging system not started

I'm execute CDE uder Exceed on XP platforms. With root and other account login is well but new user account on this machine return error: desktop messaging system not started...

dr_dt report list 8 Warnings on links for exampl:
The /usr/dt/backdrops directory is not properly
configured. The current configuration is:
permissions = lrwxr-xr-x
owner = root
group = root
link = /usr/dt/share/backdrops
For HP CDE to function correctly, it should be a
symbolic link to a directory,
with the following configuration:
permissions = lrwxr-xr-x
owner = root
group = sys
link = /usr/dt/share/backdrops

And ~/.dt/errorlog list

*** ERROR(4): dtsession: PID 14915: Fri Jun 06 15:15:31 2003
The ToolTalk session server (ttsession) could not be started. This
indicates that either ToolTalk is not installed or that it is not
installed correctly on this machine. Please see your System
Administrator.

change the group owner ship to sys for the file /usr/dt/share/backdrops as mentioned in the above report. check the permission of /etc/hosts file and ensure it grants read permission to all.

Hi,

It looks like the permission for /usr/dt/share/backdrops is not proper can you try giving 777 permission?? & the ownership should bin bin
Try giving this your problem should get solved.

Try making bin bin /usr/dt/share/backdrops

When I chown /usr/dt/backdrops bin sys
it appears new WRNING

Hi,
I ahve seen in my system,1st of all the backdrops directory is not at all linked in my system i dont know how come it is linked there, if it is linked then please see where it has been linked & 2nd thing is in my system ownership is bin bin with the permission dr-xr-xr-x 2 bin bin 2048 Sep 28 2002 backdrops,
i think this should give you some idea.

I have solved this problem.
I'm delete 3 files in home directory my bad users:
~/.ICEauthority
~/.TTauthority
`/.Xauthority
end after login they were created.
All thank you for help.
