Re: Changes To LVM crashes system
# mount -a
now in order to have access to "strings".
Simply record the output within your client and attach this file.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Changes To LVM crashes system
But due to this bad disk you can even try to boot with quorum mode up to run level 3 - so you will have network access.
Example:
Main Menu: Enter command or menu > bo pri
Interact with IPL (Y, N, or Cancel)?> y
Booting...
Boot IO Dependent Code (IODC) revision 1
HARD Booted.
ISL Revision A.00.38 OCT 26, 1994
ISL> hpux -lq
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Changes To LVM crashes system
Seems you have had a hardware failure.
Steps:
1) Get hardware checked/fixed.
2) Restore Ignite backups if available.

Re: Changes To LVM crashes system
Did your "changes" change this?
Do you want to mirror the disks again?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
