Changing Gamma on ATI Fire GL T2

G'day everyone,

i have a problem with my C8000 with ATI Fire GL T2 graphics adapter running HP-UX 11.11.

I want to change the gamma value. I add the line "Gamma 1.2" into the Monitor section of the XF86config file. When i now restart the xserver i can see the changed value in the /var/X11/Xserver/logs/Xf86.log logfile, but nothing has change on the screen itself.

Where is my fault in this or what can i do to make it work?
