characters lost when pasting with reflection emulator
I need to configure one hp 9000 (a-class) through the console port and using an automated reflection script. This configuration appears before Hpux is booted (boot process interrupted --> ISL prompt).
When I try to run my script (same problem when I try to paste characters), some characters are dropped and the destination system only receives 1 out of 2 characters.
It seems possible to configure a delay between characters on the reflection side, but I got no success in this way
Note: this character drop issue does not appear any more when hpux is loaded.
Could anybody help???

Re: characters lost when pasting with reflection emulator
Hello,
sounds very much like a handshake problem to me:
you'll need to setup XON/XOFF in *both* directions to make that work, i.e. in Reflection, AND on the "Console Path" settings in PDC.
HTH,
Wodisch

Re: characters lost when pasting with reflection emulator
Thanks for your help Wodisch.
I've tried to configure console flowcontrol at the PDM level, but aparently my hpux systems don't allow me to do so (9000/800/A180c).
One solution looks to me to configure delay betweens characters when they are sent by reflection. But up to now, I was not able to configure this f... delay.

Re: characters lost when pasting with reflection emulator
Concerning my previous message, my config tests were done at PDC (not PDM!!!)
