Check Age of Ignite Net Recovery Images

Does anyone know of a simple way to check the age of a set of Ignite recovery images (Successful Images only)? We utilize 2 servers per site, with images for up to 50 servers on each.

Trying to create a script to warn when an image is out of date.

To check the age, simply do an 'ls -l' on the make_net_recovery file. That will tell you when it was created.

What do you consider "out of date"?

Out of date is older than 8 days

Was hoping Ignite had a command line switch to provide date of last successful image creation

How about Checking "last successful image creation" under /var/opt/Ingite/recovery/latest .?

Re: Check Age of Ignite Net Recovery Images

Hi

for the archives that are local that is made usimg the make_tape_recovery can be found locally on the machine in the files

/var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest --- the log for the latest make_tape_recovery.

/var/opt/ignite/recovery/

for the other Ignite make_recovery_archives kept.

If you have performed a make_net_recovery for the client on to an ignite server then.

/var/opt/ignite/clients//recovery/latest
for the latest make_net_recovery of that client and
/var/opt/ignite/clients//recovery/* for the non latest make_net_recovery archive logs.

these log files and the date stamp om them you can refer and determine which Ignite images you want.
