chroot on HPUX 11.11

Hi, I am trying to configure chroot for one of the users. I am using the utiity ssh_chroot_setup.sh. The SSH version is A.05.10.006.

I need to set chroot for user "A" to folder
/home/test/shared. But the owner of folder test is user "B". Every thing works fine if the directories in the whole tree are owned by root. How can i acheive without changing the owner of test folder?

Please provide more detail on the structure.

You may try to create a soft link to a common folder.

chroot is designed to restrict a user to his or her own folder. Now you want to share a folder between users.

For this to work there will need to be a common folder at a new location both users can reach.
