cimserver start up issue on 11.31
Hello Gurus ,
I have any issue with cimserver startup script.
while booting system waits at /sbin/rc2.d/S600cimserver start.
I need to login from remote terminal and kill the PID, so that system continues to execute next startup scripts otherwise it stuck there for ever.
I tried to bring up manually , it shows error with SSL certification.
/var/adm/syslog # /sbin/rc2.d/S600cimserver start
PGS10033: The CIM Server is not started: PGS00415: SSL exception: PGS09207: Cannot get server certificate.
ERROR CODE 1
I have a user ID defined , not sure what is the issue ..
var/adm/syslog # grep cim /etc/passwd
cimsrvr:x:102:102:WBEM Services:/var/opt/wbem:/sbin/sh
/var/adm/syslog # grep cim syslog.log
May 16 12:11:38 usplsb07 cimserver[9277]: PGS10033: The CIM Server is not started: PGS00415: SSL exception: PGS09207: Cannot get server certificate.
what do I need to do to fix this issue.
Thanks in advance

Re: cimserver start up issue on 11.31
If you are on a new enough version of WBEM, you might try running:
/opt/wbem/sbin/wbemassist
To help identify the issue...
