To setup Cluster in HP-UX .we require some extra software CD's or OS CD itself is sufficient to make cluster.

Re: Cluster configration

You need Serviceguard to be able to set up a cluster.
On the MCOE environment media, Serviceguard is included, ohterwise you will need to purchase a license and install from hte Apps media
Read the Managing Servicguard manual available at:
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/ha

Re: Cluster configration

Hi,
you need to BUY an extra software, MC/SG software.

This license will allow you to unlock the software, on APPS CD.

If you bought and EO, like in newer OS shipped by HP, you could have it already installed.

CHeck, from swlist, the following:

HPUX11i-OE-MC

This is a Critical OE, with bundled SG.
Try to issue a cm* command, like

cmviewcl

if you get any answer, you already have the product.

HTH,
Massimo
