Cluster VG
I want to add new vg to my current running package what is the correct procedure to do this..
is it required to edit the cluster ascii file and apply the configuration or just add the vg to cntl script...

Shalom,
You need to create the vg of course.
Then you need to put the proper vg activation code in the package script.

i am in confusion that for adding vg is it rqd to halt the cluster and edit the cluster.ascci file as per my knowledge we can do this online and just need to edit the package.cntl script pls correct me if i am wrong...

Hi,
You can do online after adding the vg in ascci file you need to activate the vg manually, next time when your cluster will be down and up it will be taken care by cluster it self.
