cmviewcl -f line shows 'os_status=unknown'

Hi,

Following is the output when i do
# cmviewcl -f line|grep os_status
node:hpia32|os_status=up
node:hpia33|os_status=unknown
node:hpia34|os_status=unknown
node:hpia35|os_status=unknown

root@hpia32/> cmviewcl -f line|grep coordinator
coordinator=hpia34

what does this mean ?

I duplicated the problem and will report this to the lab

Hi Stepehen,

Did you hear anything on this from the lab team.
Every node is aware of its os_status but is not
aware of the other node's(or is it something else).

I verified that the cmviewcl command will always show the remote nodes as "unknown" - no matter what node the command is run from.

I opened a bug report with the lab and the lab acknowledges the problem and will work on a resolution. I cannot give you a turn-around time on a resolution. If this is a critical issue, please open a software support case with HP and reference JAGag43289
