codeword or customer ID !
Hi,
How I can install the protected software from the application CDs?
It look like asking for codeword or customer ID [what is this meaning? and how I can get one?]

Re: codeword or customer ID !
You will only be given the codeword and customer ID when you ordered and paid for the software that requires it. For example, MirrorUX, OnlineJFS, C++ Compiler. Typically you'll get a piece of paper that indicate the product number, description and the customer ID. With this information you'll either fax it to HP to get the codeword or log in to a HP site to obtain the codeword. With that codeword, when you run swinstall on the Application CDs, you'll have to goto the Action->Add-New-Codeword and enter the codeword. After that the protected application will appear in the list for you to install

Re: codeword or customer ID !
Hi,
You have to purchase software to unlock it
from the CD. Once you have the customer
order number and customer ID you can generate
your own codeword from the licensing site
as below.
http://www.webware.hp.com/
The codeword is the special number that is
generated from using your application CD
number(s) and the numbers above.
If the CD is supplied with the license it
should have the codeword with it.
