Codeword

Hi Guys,

Any body who knows how to display codeword installed on my HP-UX machine.

Find a file called '.codewords' or '.codeword'. I believe it is in /var/adm or /var/adm/sw.

I'm not at a system now so I can't verify name/directory, but those should get you close. Once you find the file, just view it with and utility as it is a regular text file.

What application codeword you are refering to ?

if it is a measureware or perfview
it is /var/opt/perf/

Hmmm....If my answer was only worth 1 point, what may I ask are you looking for? The file I reference contains the codeword that are input via swinstall. Are you looking for something else? Did it not answer your question?

If something is lacking in the answers, please elaborate and better define your question.

OK, I just checked one of my machines and the file is /var/adm/sw/.codewords
