Using the Ignite Server "Macduff" I want to
But I want to include Mirror-Disk as part of the installation, which is codeword protected software. How can I do this?? Do I need to swcopy the CD onto Macduff??, or do I need to have the CD available?? Then how do I enter the codeword??
PS As I am a european customer - links to info on the US site dont work for me :-(
TIA

SolutionYou should copy the mirrorux software to a depot first. You will need the codeword once to copy it to a depot, but from now on if you install from the depot now codeword needed!
Even if you want to install it from the source in one go using the codeword the swinstall command supports the -x codeword= option so you can run it on the command line.

Re: Codewords New Install
About the us links, just change 'us' by 'europe' in the url and the link will work.

Re: Codewords New Install
If you have any other machine with the Mirror -Ux installed you can check the
/var/adm/sw/.codewords file for the codewords.
Thanks

Re: Codewords New Install
Copy the Mirror-UX software on the depot on the ignite server. Rebuild the ignite server distribution depot config. Then if you are installing a client, you will not be required to put codewords, you can push the mirrox-UX software alongwith the other bundles to the client from the ignite server.
Hope this helps.
