SolutionYou need to install the PowerPath on the host first before you do anything. Once it is installed and rebooted there is nothing special that you would do. Do "powermt display all" and make sure that for each power disk you do see the different alternate paths.
When you do configure the VGs you need to use the power disks rather than the HP-UX created disks. PowerPath works under the LVM layer and hence the load balancing and redundancy is taken care by PowerPath.Let me know if this helped or need more help with this ?
