Configure Lanier printer LD345c with hppi on hpux11.i
What printer do I have to select if I want to use a Lanier printer LD345c on hpux11.i using hppi?
Do I have to install a new driver or can I select a HP printer driver.
How can I install the new driver?

Re: Configure Lanier printer LD345c with hppi on hpux11.i
I quickly checked the support webpages of lanier.com: apparently they don't provide any model scripts for HP-UX.
The LD345c is apparently a color printer, and looks like it understands PCL and/or PostScript. You might start with the choice "HP LaserJet Printer not given in this list".

Re: Configure Lanier printer LD345c with hppi on hpux11.i
Using hppi, you could choose "HP LaserJet Printer not given in this list" which would assign the net_genericprinter model script to the printer. Once you have it added you can go back into the configurable parameters and choose a different generic script to test different functionality. With Lanier multifunction printers (printer/scanner/copier) I've had success changing the model to the net_ljx000 model script.

HP Laserjet Printer not given in the list with changing option to Ljx00 works only for
textfiles, but not for ps files.
