Hi Jackie,

I believe you'll need to provide specifics about you're trying to do. However, as a starting place let me suggest you use the ITRC search and look for: windows printer hpux lpr
I found several threads that may help including: http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,11866,0x8706670142b2d5118ff10090279cd0f9,00.html

Re: configure printer on HPUX 11.0

Hi Jackie:

An easy way is to establish a 'remote' printer is with SAM and run an LPD/LPR setup on the Windows (PC) system.

Have a look at this site for more details:

You can configure it as a remote printer using the SAM tool.

If the printer is a network enabled printer (i.e
it has a networkcard and an
IP address), you can use
the jetadmin software and
configure it.

Re: configure printer on HPUX 11.0

Hello Jackie,

the easiest way seems to be to install the "Microsft TCP/IP Print Service" on that PC (if it is Windows NT4 or 2000) and then tell SAM to address it as a "Remote Printer"!
Oh, and the printer must be "Shared" on the PC, IIRC...
