Configuring DNS on HP-UX

Hi,

What is the procedure to configure an HP-UX workstation as a DNS server?.

Can I use SAM to do this?

You cannot use SAM to configure DNS. But configuring DNS is fairly straightforward if you already have a public domain and you want to setup a sub domain. Check the "BIND Name Service" section of the following document.
