Connect to DS 2300 in RX 1620

i need connect a DS2300 via SCSI ULTRA 160 (A6829A), installed into hp9000/rx1620.

How i do this?????

1) Check docs.hp.com on your server and see if the built in scsi interface is compatible with the DS2300. If so, proceed to connect it, run ioscan and the device should immediately be claimed.

2) If the on board scsi is not correct see partsurfer.hp.com for the appropriate, compatible interface.

After getting it hooked up it should be a simple matter of booting and seeing the device as claimed on ioscan.

Watch that the scsi address of the card and device do not conflict with other devices scsi id.

ds2300 this connected to rp2470, this affects its operativity with rx1620??

like change SCSI ID in the ultra 160 card into the rx1620??

thank for you aid, the problem existed in the configuration of scsi connected in ds2300, two controllers exist, in controller A it connects scsci of rx both, in controller B it connects scsci of rp both,
