connecting DLT to rp3410

LS,
is anyone familiar with connecting a DLT-drive to a rp3410 ?
The standard-scsi-port on the rp3410 is LVD/SE-SCSI, can i connect a DLT8000 on this port ?

Re: connecting DLT to rp3410

Francois,

I would say no, that's not going to work. All my DLT8000 drives are F/W.

Re: connecting DLT to rp3410

Hi Francois

You can NOT connect DLT8000 to rp3410, because DLT8000 is not a lvd device.

Re: connecting DLT to rp3410

indeed i did not succeed connecting a DLT-device (LVD)to the standard scsi-port on the rp3410. This is not supported. HP told me that only disks can be connected to this port but only if slot 2 (on the front of the server) is not filled.
