Connection attempt timeout change in hp ux question

Hi,
how will a new outbound connection attempt timeout set to 30 seconds will affect vs 600 seconds, which is default on hp-ux?

Shalom Miguel,

It might not give slower connecting applications on low band width connections or busy servers enough time to make a connection.

Check to see if your applications support this configuration before you do it, and try it out in the lab before you do it in production.
