Console error message (resubmitted)
We are getting the following message:
crt0: ERROR couldn't open /usr/lib/dld.sl errorno: 00000023
getting this message from various cron scripts and at the console. nfiles = 11,000 +
Any suggestions?
This is an N-class running HP-UX 11.00

Re: Console error message (resubmitted)
errno 23 stands for "file table overflow".
You need to increase the "nfile" parameter.
A reboot will temporarily clear out the "file table", but either your usage has gotten higher and you need to increase this parameter or you have a runaway process filling up the file table at this time.
Best regards,

Re: Console error message (resubmitted)
post your nfiles output from sar.
sar -v 1 10
The last column will tell the tale.
