I'm brain cramping here, and find it in my notes.
I need to reconfigure my Continental Cluster.
No problem doing it. Just can't remember for the life of me....
? If I stop my ccmonpkg(s) at both sites, can I go ahead and do this ? Or do I need to split all my links between sites too ?
I know splitting would be the safest way, but is it really necessary....??
Thanks & Greetings to All !
Rita

Re: Continental Cluster question...
...I don't think I need to do this. If I stop the monitor pkgs on both sites, that should be enough. There are no disks involved in the CC..so we don't face the other issues that require the need to split a link.
Does this logic work ??

SolutionI think you've got it right. Stopping the ccmonpkgs and doing the cmconcheckconf/cmconapplyconf is all I remember doing on our Continental Cluster. The last change I made was for some notifications (timing and e-mails) and that's all we did.

Re: Continental Cluster question...
Long time .. no see !
I'm with you, I think that is all I need to do. So I can do that with things up and get this finished.
Thanks,
Rita

Re: Continental Cluster question...
Once you have done your work, restart the monitor package(s) on the clsuter(s)s
